I am a Chinese American with 25 years of successful research and startup experience in areas of high speed networking, digital signal processing, and cyber security products.  I grew up in a small village in China and received my education up to Masters degree in China.  I furthered my education in the United States with earning my Doctor of Science degree.  I greatly appreciate the free market system and the democratic society in the States; I also treasure the many personal virtues instilled in me through my upbringing in the traditional Chinese culture.  I still have great passion for creating useful technologies that improve our everyday lives and I enjoy using photographs to capture special moments and spectacular sights in life and nature.  I make observations about cultural gaps between the East and the West, about human behavior,  about market and corporate culture, about nature… I like to share views and thoughts as such in the hope that it will benefit you, me, and the society.  That is my motivation for creating this blog page.  Let’s see how I can keep up besides my day job.  Your kind feedback will no doubt be helpful in making this a rewarding endeavor.
